Low Interest Car Loans, No Credit Car Loans… Which Is Best For You?

Filed under: Check This Out — Janna @ 5:04 pm

With the price of oil soaring… auto maintenance and servicing fees as high as they’ve ever been… and car prices not exactly cheap… it’s imperative that, when it comes to getting vehicle credit, you get the best deal possible. Fortunately, there is a lot of car loans information available and in this article, I’ll give you some tips for borrowing from vehicle financing companies.

Before looking for a car, it’s wise to thoroughly appraise your finances, and determine what you will have enough money to pay for - both in terms of the price of the auto, and the ongoing loan and interest expenses. This means taking a good, cold, hard look at what your living expenses are, and determining where an auto purchase fits into those. Also take into account those nasty surprise bills that crop up every now and again!

Additionally, don’t forget all the costs that are likely to come with owning and maintaining a car. On top of the upfront price and interest costs, also consider insurance, fuel and likely repairs. These are likely to vary depending on the car. For example, a new car will cost much more than a second-hand car. And a sports car is likely to require more insurance than a family car. A large car will have greater fuel costs than a small car. And a second-hand car is likely to cost more in terms of repairs!

When, and only when, you’re clear on how much money you can devote to a car purchase, should you begin searching for a car. Obviously, all the normal warnings apply - car dealers can be quite aggressive and persuasive - so it’s important to keep your wits about you! Also, be sure to stick to your budget. No matter how attractive a given car may be… if you can’t afford it, you can’t afford it. Similarly, don’t automatically accept either a dealer’s or any other company’s promise of supposedly good car financing terms. The simple truth is that you don’t have to accept anyone’s word for anything. You can easily use an Internet-based car loans calculator to discover the best loan for you. There is also plenty of car loans information around to help you distinguish between the various kinds of loans available - whether you’re interested in low interest car loans, no credit car loans, variable interest car loans, fixed interest car loans, and other kinds of credit arrangements.

Once you’ve found a couple of lenders that offer car financing on terms that appeal to you, make appointments to see them. Sit down and discuss your needs with them. And don’t forget to mention that they are one of a few lenders you are speaking with. As much as you are applying for credit to buy a motor car… they are also attempting to convince you to borrow from them. Indeed, one or more of these lenders may be able to negotiate an even more attractive financing arrangement with you.

When you have chosen both the vehicle and loan you want, the last step is simply to enjoy your new vehicle. Drive carefully and look after your car, and that way you’ll be likely to get your money’s worth!

Picking up used items on the inexpensive tip

Filed under: Check This Out — Janna @ 4:12 pm

Yet another list of really cool stuff that I managed to pick up on the cheap. I think most of you know about garage sales, but the great thing about the internet is that you can now use the internet to get really cheap things that you never thought you could find for that amazing price.

One of the really cool things I was able to pick up was a ps3. Getting a playstation on the cheap was something I never even saw coming but it was pretty sweet to find a playstation 3 for sale in a time when these things are so expensive people search all day online just to try to find a cheap playstation.

Other than the playstation, there are plenty of cheap things that you can pick up if you decide to go used. The thing about used or refurbished equipment is that you’re getting something in good working order but you’re losing most of the premium that stores pass on to you. So when young girl’s decide to grab a sewing machine they might be better off getting a get a refurbished sewing machine because in all ways they will be better off.

Lastly, the next best thing is for paintballing. I recently started playing in the summer and it was a blast. I’m so happy I started playing but luckily if you’re smart you’re going to search online for cheap paintballs and you can easily find some cheap paintball gear which will be sweet for paintballing.

The Secret To Success Is To Live Your Purpose

Filed under: Check This Out — Janna @ 12:04 am

Have you ever wondered why some people attract happiness, success and prosperity like magnets?  Why life seems so effortless for those people while others struggle?  These days, these questions are more important than ever.

Fact: Here in the United States we’re experiencing a financial crisis that is affecting the entire world, not just Americans.

Here’s another fact: there are people who prosper in the worst of times and there are others who struggle in the best of times.

What’s the difference?  Many would say it’s luck, or being born under the right stars, or to the right family.  They’d be wrong.  None of that has anything to do with success and happiness.

People who are successful, happy and prosperous have a clear purpose for their life.  They are doing what they love to do and fulfilling that purpose.

Maybe you’re struggling and wondering why life seems so hard.  Maybe you’re one of the millions of people who get up and go to work everyday to a job they hate because they think they have no other choice.  Maybe you’re ready to live the live you deserve…a life filled with success, prosperity and happiness.

Some people seem to know from day one what their “thing” is.  You’ll notice those people are happier and more successful than most anybody else you know.  Most people have to work at discovering their purpose.

Look around you.  How many people can you say appear to be truly happy?  Probably not many.  Most people you see every day seem to be going through the motions, going about their daily lives almost sleepwalking.  They’re just scraping by, in every sense of the word.

Somewhere along the line, those people have lost their sense of purpose.  Or, they’ve simply given up on ever being able to live their purpose, the thing they truly love to do.

Our society has taught us that the things we love to do typically aren’t “practical”.  There’s a clear distinction between “work” and “play”.  Even professional musicians, who *play* music for a living, call it “going to work!”  What’s wrong with that picture?

People who are doing what they love and making a living at it aren’t “working”, they’re playing!  We tend to think those people are exceptions, and generally speaking, they are.  That’s because most people don’t believe they can make a living doing what they truly love to do.

Not only can you make a living doing what you love to do, you can be truly successful in every sense of the word.  The way to do that is to discover and live your life’s purpose.

Dog Barking Training: 3 Essential Things All Owners should Know..But Most Don’t!!

How to Cure Dog Barking: Training Tips for the Frustrated Owner

Do you find yourself becoming more and more frustrated by your dog’s persistent barking? Are you swallowing aspirin at an ‘alarming quantity’ to remedy your constant headaches? If so, then you could be the proud owner of a “problem barker.” If you think you have a “problem barker” in your midst, then read on for some great tips on dog barking training, ‘figure out’ why your dog barks, and what is needed to solve this noisy problem.

Dog Barking Training Tip #1-Discovering What Kind of Barker You Have

The first thing to keep in mind is that barking, for a dog, is similar tospeaking, for a person. Realistically, you wouldn’t ask a friend to stop chatting completely, but you might ask them to stop screaming or to \’turn down\’ their voice a bit. Keeping this in mind will make it easier to avoid frustratingly high expectations a lot of people set for their pets when it comes to dog barking training.

Indeed, your first order of business with dog barking training should be to establish whether or not your dog really is a “problem barker”. The Occasional bark or two when somebody comes to the door or a few ‘yaps’ shot off at a cat on the wall are all completely normal and should not be reprimanded. These barks are merely your dog’s way of telling you “someone’s just wandered into my domain” or “hi!…. how are you this evening?”

The phrase “problem barker” is ordinarily assigned to dogs who engage in continuous, unstoppable barking for long periods of time. If this sounds familiar, then keep browsing our dog barking training tips!

Dog Barking Training Tip #2 - The Real Source of the Problem

Most problem barkers’ ‘carry on’ for 2 reasons: Boredom and Loneliness.
Does your dog spend most of it’s time outdoors? Such a lonely existence is the reason for problem barking just about 100% of the time. Dogs are not barbecue grills or garden statues. If YOU were left confined to a single space 24/7 for huge chunks of your life, you’d probably be yelling for somebody to help you as well!

Dogs are ‘group animals’, and when we sentence our dog to a solitary life in the yard it is the same as casting your dog from the pack. When we do this, we’re fundamentally ‘begging’ for a problem with dog barking. Teaching your dog to refrain from barking when he’s doing so out of loneliness is similar to trying to convince a toddler not to cry when they’re upset. All it does is puts a ‘plaster’ over a deep, personal wound and fails to address what’s truly the root cause of the relentless barking.

Dogs will often bark solely to hear the sound of their own voices, and sometimes just to get the attention of other local dogs who occasionally bark back to them. Take my advice: if you have a dog that has been relegated to the yard and who is a “problem barker”, give it a good clean and bring him inside. You will be utterly stunned at the ‘personality transplant’ most dogs go through when moved from a lonely yard into a warm and inviting home.

Now, if your dog spends only a’ wee while’ of time outside and still barks ceaselessly, or happens to be a problem barker inside, whether you’re home or away, then it may be time to accept that “yes”, you do own a problem barker, and move on to our next tip!

Dog Barking Training Tip #3 Eliminating the Root Cause of Most Barking

Aside from loneliness, the huge bulk of dog barking training issues develop from separation anxiety. The truth is, most dogs stop their relentless barking when they’re with their owners. Of course, it’s unrealistic to expect you to remain with your dog Twenty-four hours a day, so how should you ‘tackle’ a dog that barks the whole time whenever you go somewhere?

There are several dog barking training methods, starting at dog crate training but the one that seems to work most successfully is the method that cures the dog’s separation anxiety, and not just the barking. If you have a dog who tends to ‘deafen’ the neighbourhood when left alone, commence your training session by doing everything you’d normally do before going out the door-find your keys, find your coat, pick up your briefcase, and so on. Then reassure you dog, saying “I won’t be long.”, “I’ll be right back.”

Then, leave the house for one minute, come back home and put away all of your items, as though you’ve just come home from work. Give your dog a friendly stroke and congratulate him. Then, repeat the entire process, but this time leave the house for a slightly longer period (maybe three minutes). Repeat this process of going and returning until you can leave for a full fifteen minutes without any case of dog barking. Working with your dog in this manner will show him that you’re going to return whenever you leave the house, thus allaying the fear that causes him to bark when you’re away.

Can it truly be this easy??

No problem barker should ever be viewed as a ‘hopeless case’. Quick-fixes such as screaming at the dog, ‘conditioning’ it with a shock collar, or drenching it with water are just that….’quick-fixes’ that fail to address the real problem. If you’re looking at how to train your dog, I would suggest a small amount of dedication, patience, the willingness to make your dog a ‘true member’ of the family and proper dog training advice. And, as you’ve probably realised by now, a good owner leads to a good dog!

How Adults Can Start Playing The Piano Again…After Years Of Being Away From The Piano

Filed under: Check This Out — Janna @ 5:01 pm

There are millions of adults who took piano lessons when they were kids, and would love to start playing again, but dread the idea of starting over again and taking lessons. To see how easy it is to get started again, take a look at this blog on Piano Chords & Chord Progressions.

It’s true that you never forget certain things that you learn as a child, like riding a bicycle. Playing piano is another example. A minimum of two to three years of piano lessons is enough to instill an indelible knowledge of piano basics. That knowledge will likely be remembered throughout adulthood.

However, some adults who have been out of practice for several years may find returning to piano lessons challenging. Re-learning piano as an adult can be intimidating. Starting piano lessons again can be fulfilling though for those prepared to tackle the challenges.

One of the biggest challenges of re-learning piano as an adult is changing methods. Adults who took only a few years of piano lessons as children may have initially learned to play by rote. Playing piano by rote focuses more on memorization and mimicry than on learning to read music and understand chords.

Children tend to learn very quickly by rote. Children who learn by this method appear to progress quickly. Eventually though, as pieces get more difficult, learning tends to slow down significantly. Grasping new skills becomes increasingly difficult. This method is becoming less and less favored by piano instructors today for this reason.

Another hurdle to clear when re-learning piano as an adult is chords and theory. This is especially true if an adult took only a few years of piano lessons as a child. Adults who had five or fewer years of piano lessons likely didn’t learn chord theory. Even adults who learned to read music as children frequently have trouble grasping chords.

Learning anything (piano or otherwise) is always harder in adulthood than childhood. It’s not impossible though. Anyone with a foundation in music is at an advantage when re-learning piano as an adult.

Are you an adult trying to brush up on old piano skills or learn new ones? Here are four things to consider before you start:

1. Be willing to put aside old habits. The piano hasn’t changed since you were a child. Teaching methods may have though. Don’t discount a teaching method just because it’s different from what you’re used to. Compare different learning methods before deciding which one is best for you.

2. Be prepared to start from scratch. It will be easier for you to ease into piano lessons simply because you’re familiar with a keyboard. That doesn’t mean it won’t be challenging. Don’t expect to play a classical sonata in the first month. Take things slowly, perhaps even starting with a refresher of the basics (i.e., scales).

3. Be committed to rehearsing your songs. Remember your mother nagging you to practice as a kid? Mom’s not around now, so it’s up to you to push yourself. Piano lessons are only as good as the effort you’re willing and able to put in. Make daily practice time a priority.

4. Find the right teacher either in person or online. There are many excellent courses on the web you can take that allow you to progress at your own pace. Check out  PlayPiano.com and PianoLessonsByVideo.com. Getting the right piano instructor makes all the difference in the world. Look for a teacher who is experienced with working with adults.  He or she will then set you on the right course for re-learning.

Re-learning piano as an adult can be very rewarding. Not only will you improve your piano skills; you’ll stimulate your brain too. This will probably help you improve other areas of your life. Adults who take piano lessons often report a better ability to concentrate. Many also realize a greater aptitude for learning other new skills. These things carry over into other parts of adult life, from work, to hobbies and even raising children.

Bangles and Baubles and Bags, Oh My!

Filed under: Check This Out — Janna @ 8:00 pm

Every self proclaimed fashionista, whether living the high life in Manhattan or a housewife living in suburban Kentucky, enjoys watching the high-paced energy of a runway show; the glamorous supermodels sashaying down the aisle wearing the latest in high fashion and couture accessories, the inspiring creations of the designs, the music loudly thumping as the pure meaning of couture heads down the walkway one after the other. But, in actuality, attaining the look of the runway women, is another story altogether.

Let’s face it, most of the women in today’s society are not model thin or model tall enough to be able to pull off the look that appears on the runway.

So, what is there for the typical suburban housewife to do? The solution is easy! You can take your simple, plain every day outfits and glamorize them with a few pieces of well bought and well thought out couture accessories. Instead of throwing on a pair of tired old sweats to take the kids to school in the morning or run to the grocery store, why not purchase a stylish Juicy Couture velour sweat suit accessorized with a pair of LaCoste tennis shoes, a simple silver chain from Tiffany and Company and a sport little Juicy Couture bag. You will be the envy of every mother at your kids’ school!

If you are planning on meeting someone special for lunch, why not choose an establishment with a little more class than your typical coffee shop and dress accordingly. You can wear a simple pencil skirt with a feminine chiffon blouse accessorized with a fun pair of designer labeled heels, like Manolo Blahnik or Christian Laboutin and a gorgeous strand of pearls. This ensemble will be have an air of understated elegance while still allowing you to be well put together.

Handbags and wallets are other couture accessories that are wildly popular for non-celebrities today. A top designer of handbags and related items like shoes and briefcases is Coach. Other top designers that produce trendy, expensive highly sought after handbags include Louis Vuitton, Prada, Balenciaga, Gucci and Prada.

These bags range from simple and understated to large, gaudy and over the top. When shopping for handbags online be careful because there are so many replicas out there that can fool even the most discerning eye. In order to make sure you are getting the real thing, there is a serial number inside the bag to denote authenticity.

Louis Vuitton bags became hugely popular last year with the release of the “Sex and the City” movie in which the film’s star, Carrie Bradshaw (played by actress and self confessed shopaholic Sarah Jessica Parker) is seen throughout the movie with spectacular bags. She even gave her assistant Louise, played by Jennifer Hudson, a brand new Louis Vuitton bag for Christmas.

In the movie Carrie was quoted as saying, “It was the best money I ever spent” upon seeing the thrill on the face of her assistant after opening the gift. Why not give yourself or someone you love that same thrill by purchasing a new couture accessory? It could be the best money you ever spent!

How to be Successful in Network Marketing

Filed under: Check This Out — Janna @ 6:17 pm

Many people who get into network marketing think all they have to do is recruit a couple of top notch sale people and they sit back because they have got it make. If you believe this is true then you will never be successful in network marketing.

You see if you are hard selling, convincing or manipulating your prospect in any way to join you in your networking business are definitely doing it all wrong. That is why sales professionals rarely succeed in network marketing. The only way the will be successful in network marketing is if they foreget about selling. How to be successful in network marketing is not about selling its about sharing and education.

Unfortunately many people in the network marketing industry still make the mistake of applying sales techniques and “Closing the Sale” forcing the prospect into purchasing and wondering why they are failing.

After all “a person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still”

If you want to reach the top ranks of your network marketing companies compensation plan you will have to master what I call the voluntary close. This is where your prospect will “sell themselves” and make the decision to purchase by themselves.

Because they voluntarily made the choice to purchase, they will be much more likely they will work much harder and stay dedicated longer because “it was their idea”.

This is achieved indirectly through tools and asking questions instead of direct personal pressure.
